The Challenge
The client's customer support team was overwhelmed handling 2,000+ tickets daily. Existing chatbots gave generic responses and couldn't access company-specific knowledge. They needed an AI that could understand their product documentation, sales data, and internal processes to provide accurate, contextual responses.
The Solution
Architected a RAG-based chatbot platform using LangChain for orchestration, Pinecone for vector storage, and OpenAI GPT-4 for generation. Built intelligent document ingestion pipelines that chunk, embed, and index knowledge bases. Implemented hybrid search (semantic + keyword) for maximum retrieval accuracy. Created a Next.js admin dashboard for managing knowledge bases, monitoring conversations, and fine-tuning responses.
