Delete your data

1. On your phone

Your name, age, goal, lesson results, recordings, streaks and story videos are stored only on the device. Either:

• Delete the app — touch and hold its icon → Remove App → Delete App. Everything goes with it; or
• keep the app but start over — Settings → Progress → Reset all progress.

Story videos you saved to Photos or shared elsewhere are outside the app and stay until you delete them there.

2. Messages you sent us

If you wrote to us through the app or by email, that message — and any contact details you typed — is kept on our server for up to a year. To have it deleted sooner, email hello@syedhaider.dev from the address you gave us, or tell us roughly when you sent it and what it said so we can find it. We confirm within 30 days.

3. Usage statistics

Usage events carry only a random session id that changes every time the app is opened, so they cannot be linked to you and there is nothing to find and delete. They are deleted automatically after a year. To stop the app sending them, turn off Share usage statistics in Settings → Privacy.

4. Advertising measurement

If you allowed tracking, Meta may hold install and purchase events tied to your advertising identifier. To stop that and reset the identifier: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off Quran Tutor, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising. To have Meta delete what it already holds, use the Meta data-deletion request or Facebook's Off-Facebook Activity settings.

5. Purchases

Your purchase history is Apple's record and stays with your Apple ID under Apple's policies. Cancelling a subscription is done in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
