How can we help?

Answers to the questions we hear most, and two ways to reach a person.

Fastest

Talk to us from the app

Scroll to the bottom of the Home tab, write what you need in the box and press Send. Leave an email or number if you would like a reply. Sent messages arrive with the app version and device model, so there is nothing else to tell us.

Include your iPhone model and iOS version, and for purchase questions the date you bought. We reply within two working days, usually sooner.

Common questions

I paid, but Premium is not showing.

Open Settings → Premium → Restore purchases on the device that is signed in with the Apple ID you bought with. If it still does not show, write to us with the date of the purchase and we will look into it.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. Go to iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Quran - Tutor and tap Cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are decided by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com — choose the purchase and follow the steps. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

What does Premium include?

The Qaida course from the first letter to the last level, with its reviews; all eleven reciters; and every downloadable translation. Without Premium you can still read the whole Quran with the built-in English translation, listen to one reciter, see prayer times and the qibla, and make story videos. The purchase screen — shown after onboarding, whenever you open something that is part of Premium, and any time in Settings → Premium — lists exactly what is included in the version you have, with the price in your currency. Nothing is charged until you confirm with Apple.

How do I switch reminders off?

Settings → Reminders has a switch for prayer-time notifications and one for the nudge you get after a few days away. Both are worked out on your phone and nothing about them is sent to us. If you have turned notifications off for the app in iPhone Settings, nothing arrives whatever the switches say.

Does it work offline?

Partly. The Qaida course and any translation you have downloaded work without a connection, and the Quran text stays on the device once it has been fetched. Recitation audio streams as you listen, so it needs a connection — as do story videos, new downloads and the location for prayer times.

The audio does not play.

Recitation streams as you listen, so check the connection first. Then check the ring/silent switch on the side of the phone and the volume, and try another reciter. If nothing plays at all, force-quit the app and open it again.

I want to start the course again from the beginning.

Settings → Progress → Reset all progress. This clears lesson results, recordings and streaks on the device. It cannot be undone.

Why did the app ask to track me?

That is Apple's permission prompt for measuring whether our advertising works. Choosing “Ask App Not to Track” changes nothing in the app: every lesson and feature works exactly the same. You can change your answer any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Learners under 13 are never asked.

How do I delete my data?

Almost everything is on your phone, so deleting the app deletes it. Details for anything else are on the delete-your-data page.
